1. Scope
This policy applies to the information processing that occurs when you use Cluekeep (the “App”) on an iOS device, including following companies, receiving the daily brief and push notifications, purchasing a subscription, and contacting customer support.
It also applies to this website (cluekeep.lockeep.app), which is a static site: it sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking.
2. Operator and Contact
The App is developed and operated by the legal entity shown at the top of this page. If you have privacy questions, please contact us through the support email shown at the bottom of this page.
3. No Account, No Login
Cluekeep does not require an account. There is no registration, no login, no email address, no phone number, and no password.
The App identifies your installation through an anonymous, randomly generated device identifier. It cannot be traced back to you as a person and is used only to deliver the push notifications you opt into.
Your settings sync across your own devices through your private iCloud account (iCloud Key-Value Storage). We never see, store, or have access to your iCloud credentials or data.
4. Information We Process
| Data type | Purpose | Where it lives | Retention |
| Followed companies | Build your Today brief and timelines | On your device; mirrored in your private iCloud | Until you unfollow or uninstall |
| Notification preferences | Push grading, daily brief on/off | On your device; mirrored in your private iCloud | Until changed or uninstalled |
| Anonymous device ID | Deliver push notifications to your device | Our push server | Deleted when you disable notifications or uninstall |
| Language preference | Display the interface and content in your language | On your device (follows the system setting) | Until changed or uninstalled |
| Subscription status | Determine Pro benefits and purchase restoration | Managed by Apple StoreKit; read locally on device | Managed by Apple |
| Support correspondence | Resolve issues you report to us | Our support mailbox | Deleted or anonymized after resolution |
5. How We Use Information
To provide the core service: the Today brief, company timelines, and event detail for the companies you follow.
To deliver the notifications you enabled, at the priority you chose.
To determine subscription benefits, trial status, and purchase restoration.
To handle support requests and troubleshoot issues you report.
6. Storage, Sync, and Retention
Your personalization data — followed companies, notification preferences, and language — is stored locally on your device, which remains the source of truth.
If you are signed in to iCloud, this data is mirrored in your private iCloud Key-Value Storage so it syncs to your other devices. If iCloud is unavailable, the App silently falls back to single-device behavior.
Uninstalling the App removes the local data. Data in your iCloud is governed by your own iCloud settings.
Support emails and any screenshots you voluntarily send are retained only as long as needed to resolve the issue, then deleted or anonymized.
7. What We Never Collect
- No cookies, no web tracking, no advertising identifiers.
- No browsing history, no reading behavior outside the App.
- No account data, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- No data sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers — the App has no ads and no ad SDKs.
- No behavioral analytics or third-party tracking SDKs of any kind.
The company events shown in the App are compiled exclusively from public information — regulatory filings, official announcements, and public reporting. They never come from your data.
